I am in a Paper Session. What is the session format, and the submission requirements and deadlines?

Session Format:

  • Each session will have 4–6 presenters
  • Each presenter will present their topic for 10–12 minutes
  • There will be Q&A following each individual paper

I am on a Panel on a Commercial Topic. What is the session format, and the submission requirements and deadlines?

Session Format:

  • Each session will have 5-6 presenters
  • Each presenter delivers a short presentation for 5–7 minutes
  • After all presentations, panellists will join a Q&A discussion in a panel format

        a. Extended Abstract (mandatory, unless a Full Paper is submitted)

I am in the Poster Session (Discovery Hub). What is the format, and the submission requirements and deadlines?

Format:

  • Posters will be displayed digitally at the Discovery Hub on the Exhibition floor throughout the event)
  • Poster presenters must attend Discovery Hub Live on 4 February 2026 to engage with delegates and discuss their work

 

Submission Requirements:

        a. Poster Summary (mandatory, unless a Full Paper is submitted)

        b. Poster Presentation (mandatory) (4–5 slides, landscape format)

        c. Full Paper (optional)

Where do I submit my documents?

All submissions (Full Paper/Extended Paper/Poster Summary and Paper/Short Presentation/ Poster Presentation) must be uploaded via the “Tasks” section of the submission portal, accessible here.

What is the submission deadline to submit my Full Paper/Extended Paper/Poster Summary or Presentation?

The deadline for all submissions is 19 December 2025.

Is there a word limit for my Full Paper/Extended Paper/Poster Summary?

Yes. Word limits are specified in the Submission Guide here.

What language should be used?

All documents and presentations must be prepared in English. Please note that all Technical Programme sessions will be conducted in English only. There will be no simultaneous interpretation.

Can I use my own presentation template?

All presenters are required to use the official LNG2026 Presenter Presentation Templates. You may download them here.

Will my session be recorded or live-streamed?

Technical Programme sessions will not be recorded or live-streamed.

Can I update my presentation after submission?

TECHNICAL PROGRAMME - PRESENTER PARTICIPATION

What if I can no longer attend LNG2026?

If your availability changes after confirming participation, please inform us as soon as possible at technicalprogramme@lng2026.com so we can update the programme.

Can I nominate a colleague to present on my behalf?

Please email technicalprogramme@lng2026.com if you need to nominate a replacement and the team will advise you on the process.

Can I have more than one presenter?

No. Only one presenter per paper, panel or poster is permitted.

Can I still apply to present at the LNG2026 Technical Programme?

No. Applications to present in the Technical Programme are now closed.

What is the dress code for LNG2026?

Business attire is recommended for LNG2026.

TECHNICAL PROGRAMME - REGISTRATION, TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION

Is there a cost to speak at LNG2026?

Yes, Technical Programme Presenters and Poster Presenters must pay the presenter rate of USD 2,175 (a 50% discount on the Executive Delegate Standard Rate). This provides full access to all Executive Programme sessions and networking opportunities, as well as the Technical Programme.

How can I register as a Technical Programme Presenter?

Each Presenter receives a special registration link to register. By completing the registration process, in line with normal practice in the host country Qatar, you will receive an accreditation to LNG2026 which will also serve as a visa, regardless of nationality. You will not need to apply separately for a visa.

Please make sure you upload the same passport that you will use to enter the country for the event.

QID holders also need accreditation using their QID.

Once your accreditation is approved, you will receive confirmation by email.

Do I need a visa to enter Qatar?

No. Presenters are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements.

Do I need accreditation to attend LNG2026?

In line with normal practice in the host country, Qatar, all participants (speakers, delegates, exhibitors and media) at LNG2026 will be required to obtain accreditation to access the event. This accreditation will also serve as a visa, regardless of nationality. You will not need to apply separately for a visa.

Please make sure you upload the same passport that you will use to enter the country for the event.

QID holders also need accreditation using their QID.

Once your accreditation is approved, you will receive confirmation by email.

How do I obtain accreditation to attend LNG2026?

To obtain accreditation, you will need to register for LNG2026 here: https://lng2026.com/registration-page

Please note that if you are a speaker, exhibitor, or media, you will be contacted directly with a registration link.

Does accreditation include a visa?

Yes. Once your accreditation is approved it serves as a visa, regardless of nationality.

I’m based in Qatar and have a QID, do I still need accreditation?

Yes, QID holders also need accreditation. By completing the registration process, in line with normal practice in the host country Qatar. Once your accreditation is approved, you will receive confirmation by email.

Can I book accommodation before registering or receiving accreditation?

Yes, you can book your accommodation whenever you like.

How do I get my delegate badge?

Exact location, as well as collection dates and times will be confirmed closer to the event. Badges can be collected after your accreditation has been approved. Please bring a valid ID and your confirmation email.

Can I collect my badge on behalf of someone else?

Yes, if you have a valid authorisation letter as well as a copy of your colleague’s confirmation email.

Do I need a badge for all events?

Yes, your badge is required for entry to sessions, networking events, and the exhibition.

What happens if I lose my badge?

Please keep your badge safe and with you at all times. Due to strict badge regulations, reprints will not be permitted under any circumstances, and you will not be able to gain entry without it.

What languages will the event be conducted in?

All conference sessions will be in English. Translation into Arabic will be provided in the Plenary and Spotlight sessions.

What is the dress code for LNG2026?

Business attire is recommended for LNG2026.

Is there Wi-Fi at the venue?

Yes, free Wi-Fi will be available for all attendees.

Will there be catering available onsite?

Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all registered delegates during the conference days. Exhibitors and visitors may purchase lunch and refreshments at QNCC.

Is there a mobile App for the event?

Yes, registered attendees will receive access to the official LNG2026 event App closer to the event date, which includes the programme, speaker list, networking tools, and more.
