TP10 - Reducing Environmental Impact in the LNG Value Chain - New Technologies and Strategies
To meet the challenges of the energy transition, the LNG industry is developing new concepts, ideas and initiatives to reduce its overall environmental impact. Recently there have been many new technologies proposed to achieve such environmental objectives. This session combines a view on current opportunities and potential future technologies to decarbonise the LNG industry, ranging from carbon capture and storage on brownfield projects to demonstration of ‘e-methane’ production.
