TP12 - Innovative Liquefaction, Gas Processing and Storage Solutions

04 Feb 2026
Technical Programme Theatre C
Technical Paper Sessions

Continuous innovation in gas processing, LNG liquefaction, regas terminal processes, and associated equipment design including LNG containment and storage systems are the key elements allowing for improved process efficiency, cost reduction and environmental impact. Selecting the optimum design (small vs large scale, electric vs gas power, modularised vs stick built etc.) remains critical for projects viability. Speakers will share with the audience lessons learned from the execution of real-life LNG projects or newly proposed technology solutions and the latest technological advancements and regulatory requirements for LNG storage.

07:30 - 07:40: A Case Study on Printed Cycle Heat Exchanger Adoption for Reliable and Enhanced Ethane Recovery at QatarEnergy LNG Facilities
07:50 - 08:00: Comparing Gas Turbine technology for the ConocoPhillips Optimized CascadeĀ® (OCP) pro-cess: Aero vs. Frame in Long-Term Operations
08:00 - 08:10: Fully Integrated Solution for Lean Natural Gas Processing in an LNG Facility
07:40 - 07:50: New Developments in LNG Storage
08:10 - 08:20: Innovative MCHE Cold-Bundle Bypass: An Unprecedented Solution Enables Continued LNG Production
