The LNG industry is based on capital intensive supply chains that span the globe and have lifespans of many multiples of decades. The commercial and financial agreements that underpin these chains are required to robustly allocate risk and reward between buyers and sellers, and lenders and borrowers, while considering the changing geopolitics of energy, the energy transition, and the evolving nature of the LNG industry itself. This session will look at recent financing trends in the industry and their potential evolution in future.
