Sveinung J. S. Støhle has served as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Angelicoussis Shipping Group since January 2022, based in Athens, Greece. The Angelicoussis Shipping Group has four operating companies trading under the “Maran” name across the LNG, dry, and crude segments, MaranGas, MaranDry, MaranTankers and MaranShuttleTankers, with a total fleet in operation of 158 vessels, and another 25 vessels under construction.

Mr. Stohle has more than 40 years of experience in the global shipping and energy sectors, from both private and publicly listed companies. He has served as President and CEO of Höegh LNG, Chairman of Höegh LNG Partners, Board Director for Avenir LNG, President of Total LNG USA LLP, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Golar LNG Ltd., and General Manager Commercial at Nigeria LNG Ltd. He holds an MBA from the University of San Francisco and a BSc in Finance from California State University. He is married and has 4 children and is a Norwegian citizen.
