Naoki Watanabe

Naoki Watanabe, Chiyoda Corporation, has 20 years process engineering for the natural gas, liquified natural gas (LNG) and CCS experience. This includes 2 years of experience as a start-up and lead commissioning engineer in Sakhalin and Papua New Guinea LNG projects. In his current role, the Deputy General Manager of the Gas & LNG Process Engineering Department. In his role, he has successfully led multiple FEED/EPC LNG projects in process engineering. Adding to his remarkable portfolio, he has recently worked the role of Process Manager for the North Field East EPC-1 project in Qatar, as well as several Japan domestic CCS projects. His expertise and leadership continue to drive the industry forward.
