Maryam Abdulla is currently working as Head of Environmental Regulatory Compliance and Projects at QatarEnergy LNG. Maryam has over 15 years of environmental management experience serving in different capacities in LNG industry. Her key areas of expertise include strategic environmental planning, environmental impact assessment, environmental sustainability, environmental management systems, project permitting, marine assessment and compensation projects. She is driving environmental compliance culture in QatarEnergy LNG to implement environmental permitting requirements.
Maryam holds a master’s degree in energy and resources management from HBKU and bachelor’s degree in environmental science and biotechnology from Qatar University, and has written over 10 technical papers/ presentations in conferences on various environmental management issues of Oil & Gas Industry.
