Federica Berra

Federica Berra leads Integrated Gas & Power (IGP), a global team that plays a key role in developing infrastructure and access to new markets, integrating the natural gas and power value chains. IGP has teams in Brazil, China, India, Singapore, and the UK. Federica joined bp in her current role in 2020. She has almost 25 years of experience in the energy industry, having held several senior roles at ExxonMobil in natural gas, LNG and power in Europe, the United States and Canada. Over her career, she has worked to promote the long-term role of natural gas in the energy mix as a transition fuel in collaboration with governments, academia, and think tanks. Federica has a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion, and advocates for the adoption of positive, inclusive behaviours and psychological safety. Federica Berra has a master's degree in Chemical Engineering cum laude from the Universita' La Sapienza of Rome, Italy. She is married, has two children and is based in London. In her spare time, she enjoys long-distance running
