Christopher Buckingham

Chris Buckingham joined MUFG in 2019 and serves as a Director in MUFG's Americas Project Finance team, based in New York. In this role, he focuses on supporting developers and investors in structuring and executing debt-financing transactions for energy infrastructure in the Americas.'

Through more than a decade of experience in structured finance, he has contributed to the successful raising of more than $50 billion in project financing from commercial banks and in the debt capital markets and has led numerous financing transactions, including for midstream, LNG, petrochemical, and gas-fired power assets.'

Prior to joining MUFG, Chris worked in J.P. Morgan's Corporate and Investment Bank in New York and London.'
