Bo Jin
Dr. Bo Jin completed his Ph.D. study on multiphase flow mechanics in ChE department and the Levich Institute at The City College of New York from 2000 to 2004 under the supervision of Professor Andreas Acrivos. After his Ph.D. study, he joined the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and then MIT for post-doctoral research on computational immunology. Since 2007, he has worked as a senior technical staff member for three US companies including Air Products and Chemicals, Praxair and Honeywell. He has developed strong problem-solving skill and expertise in several areas of chemical industries such as two-phase flow and heat transfer, LNG liquefaction process, distillation, combustion, catalytic reaction, adsorption and SMR hydrogen production. He also has significant experiences in innovation and development of novel technology via lab experiment, pilot demonstration and plant test as well as computational tools such as CFD. He has more than 20 journal paper publications and US patents.
