Canada aims to have one of the most sustainable, responsible, and inclusive natural gas industries in the world. As one of the world’s largest producers of natural gas it continues to showcase how development can co-exist with environmental stewardship and Indigenous reconciliation. Many Canadian projects use hydroelectric power to achieve record-low emissions and plan to meet Net Zero targets set by the government.​
