James Solomon
Jim joined Air Products in 1978 and held various technical and commercial positions prior to joining the LNG business (acquired by Honeywell in 2024) as International Sales Manager in 1993. Since that time Jim’s career has been dedicated to the LNG industry, ultimately assuming the role of Air Products’ LNG Director until his retirement in 2022. Currently, Jim serves as an advisor to Honeywell LNG. Jim holds a chemical engineering degree from Princeton University, and an MBA and master’s degree in engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Jim has been actively involved with the International LNG Conference since LNG-11 (1995 Birmingham). He served as Program Committee Secretary for LNG-13 (2001 Seoul) and as a member of the Program Committee for LNG-16 (2010 Algeria), LNG-17 (2013 Houston), LNG-18 (2016 Perth), and LNG-19 (Shanghai). Jim also served as a member of the LNG 2023 Steering Committee until his retirement.
