Ieda Gomes Yell

Ieda is a Senior Adviser of the Brazilian think tank FGV Energia. She has been a member of the LNG Programme Committee since 2004.

Ieda is a non-executive director of energy, infrastructure and construction companies, across the USA, Brazil, Central America, Singapore, France, Isle of Man and the United Kingdom.

Ieda is also a Visiting Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, member of the Infrastructure Council of FIESP and the Advisory Council of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain. She is a director at WILL-Women in Leadership in Latin America.

With a career spanning over 35 years, she was Vice President of New Ventures, President of BP Brazil, and VP for BP Solar, VP for Regulatory Affairs and VP for Pan American Energy. Prior to BP, Ieda was CEO of COMGAS/SP. Ieda received the award Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year (Brazil)/2001.
